Phnom Penh, the capital of Kingdom of Cambodia, extents to the intersection of three rivers, Mekong, Tonle Sap, and Bassac river. With a population of about 2.13 million, the political and economic center is lush with a mixture of many Buddhist temples and Western style building, that remain since French Colonial Period. The city was developed by France during the reign, creating a beautiful cityscape that can be hailed as "Paris of the East" and "Oasis of Indochina". The current city of Phnom Penh, which was built on the basis of city planning, has well-organized and easy-to-understand road sections. The city system is being improved year by year, and the number of hotels and shops for foreigners is increasing rapidly due to the construction rush that changes the cityscape rapidly. The town is full of young energy. Phnom Penh is the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia and is a special city that does not belong to any province. The current Phnom Penh has 14 Khans, and the area has doubled from 376.17 km2 to 678.46 km2, which is almost the same size as the 23 wards of Tokyo. Currently, large-scale development is heading north, centered on Khan Dounpenh. On the south side, on the other hand, the construction of the third AEON MALL store and a new international airport is springing up. On the east side, large-scale housing development and highway construction are underway. The capital city of Phnom Penh is continuing to develop at a dizzying pace.
