Preah Vihea
Sky temple overlook the land of Cambodia
Preah Vihea is located at the northern end of Cambodia, about 3 hours and a half drive
from Siem Reap, with a small population for its vast land. Preah Vihear, the second World
Heritage Site in Cambodia, is located in the Dangrek Mountain, which borders Thailand,
and is built on the top of a cliff at an altitude of 625m. The superb view from the top of
the mountain is so spectacular that it is called Temple in the Sky or Machu Pichhu in Asia.
Today the road to Preah Vihear is all paved. Formerly known as Tbaeng Mean chey.
