Svay Rieng is located about 130km from Phnom Penh along the border between
Cambodia and Vietnam, and is a thriving agricultural site, which lead from Phnom Penh
to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam by national road 1. There is no mountain in the large
delta area which was created by the Mekong River, and you will be overwhelmed by the
vast nature. The famous city of Svay Rieng is Bavet, which has a border with Vietnam
and is a lively place with many casinos and hotels.
