Kampong Speu is located in the center between capital city of Phnom Penh and sea site,
Sihanoukville, and is about an hour’s drive from the west of Phnom Penh. It is attracting
investsment from foreign companies, such as the decision to enter a factory by a foreign
company in 2020, and is attracting a great deal of interest from domestic and foreign
investors. The northern part of the province is a mountainous area, with the highest peak
of Cambodia, Phnum Aoral. Many domestic and foreign tourists visit the area, where hot
spring of 70-80 oC spring up, and Kirirom National Park, which is famous as a resort, so
eco-tourism is expected in the future.
